221012 - Attraction Loop breakout - version 4.0

by - Joseph Ganci

This example was created in response to a question posed to me by one of my students at George Washington University: How do I set up an attraction screen that can be interrupted by any keypress or mouse click?  Using a Decision loop that repeats until a click or keypress will usually not work because the Decision loop will not check for either until it has finished an interaction, which may mean a long wait before the click or keypress is recognized.  This example, created in Authorware 4.0, shows how to use a perpetual hot spot to immediately move on when the user initiates an action.
