B1011 - How do I create a text variable that will allow quotes to show up?

by - Joseph Ganci

How do you created a text variable that will allow quotes to show up? For example:  "Good job!"

Precede each quotation with a backslash character. For instance:

      textvar := "\"Good job!\""

Looks funky, but that's how it's done. You can also use the Char function. Since the quotation is ASCII code 34, you can use:

      textvar := Char(34) ^ "Good job!" ^ Char(34)

This does the same thing.
