B1003 - How can I display the time and have it continually update in real time?

How can I display the time and have it continually update in real time?

Open a Display icon at the point in your file where you wish the time to first appear.  Place within it the line
    {FullTime}
(Those are curly brackets above).

If You're Using Authorware Before Version 4.0: Open the Effects dialog box for the Display or Interaction icon.
If You're Using Authorware Version 4.0 or later: Open the Properites dialog box for the Display or Interaction icon and click the Display tab.

Check Update Displayed Variables and for good measure also check the Prevent Automatic Erase option. You may want to set the layer high so that the time appears over anything else you may be showing.

The only other things to watch out for is that you don't accidentally cover the time with some other object, explicitly erase it (unless you want to) and if you're using the EraseAll function, your time will go away as well.
