B2002 - How do I differentiate between a user single click and a double click?

by - Joseph Ganci

We want to ask our users to double-click on an area as the correct response, but we also want to give them feedback if they single-click that same area. We tried arranging hot spots (the same spot) within the interaction but it always evaluates the single-click first then the double-click. Any ideas how we might do this?

Have one hot spot activated for single-click.  Within the Map icon that serves as a feedback, have a Decision icon with a Calculated path set to 1+DoubleClick.  Place the code you would like to have happen for a single click in the first path attached to the Decision.  For the code that should happen for a double-click, place it in the second path.
